WARRANTY AND REPAIR POLICY

The SUTHERLAND® 2000™ Ink Rub Tester has a two-year limited warranty. Our warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, which occur during normal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in shipment or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, line power surge, introduction of sand, dust, and liquids, shipping or transit accidents, damage that occurs during uncrating setup or installation, or service by anyone other than Danilee Co., LLC. The electronic components (i.e. count & control board) have a 90 day warranty, as we have no control over the power supplied to these components. We recommend using a surge strip for protection of the Count & Control circuit board against power surges. Any alterations done by the customer to the unit will void warranty. The electric box has been “sealed” to prohibit tampering, should this seal be broken or removed the warranty will be void.
In the unlikely event that a unit should fail during its warranty period due to a defect in material or workmanship, Danilee Co., LLC will repair or replace the unit with a new unit of equal or greater value at no charge to the customer except that the customer must cover one way freight charges via a preferred two or three day freight carrier and that customer must insure the unit for full replacement value.
Due to recent events, applying to SUTHERLAND® Ink Rub Testers being shipped to Danilee Co., LLC for repairs, upgrades, or warranty work, we have found it necessary to inform our customers that Danilee Co., LLC will no longer receive any items other than those shipped insured. We are also strongly recommending the customer retain the original shipping container to return said units for future upgrades or warranty work.
